My Role

As part of the technical SEO team at Creare Ltd I was responsible for providing strategies for implementing SEO to optimise website for search.

Working closely with the web development team to ensure all websites adhere to best practices and coding standards by completing audits and quality assurance checks to align with in-house coding standards.

Completing SEO audits and full crawl analysis to help websites gain exposure and visibility and working with Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics to find opportunities for growth and to provide reporting to clients.

My Role

As part of the web development team at wkdCode Ltd my job role involved building bespoke website applications, ecommerce systems and API's.

Initially joined the company as a frontend / Wordpress developer, working my way to a senior backend developer role working with various frameworks to deliver solutions to meet key business objectives.

Providing creative solutions aligning with core business logic and objectives to improve user experience and application performance.

One of my main projects involved developing a large-scale application for an event ticket stock exchange for resellers. This included integration with major ticket-selling platforms such as StubHub and Ticketmaster via APIs, along with creating an internal eCommerce store for customer ticket purchases.

My Role

As the Lead Full Stack Web Developer at Jump Media Group Ltd I was responsible for leading the web development and hosting side of the agency. As the sole developer, I built, managed, and maintained all the agency's client web applications, ensuring their functionality, security, and performance. Additionally, I was responsible for implementing updates and enhancements as needed.

In this role, I enhanced the agency's development processes, workflows, and deployment strategies by establishing development standards that streamlined project execution and improved code quality. I also led a successful migration of agency applications to a new server provider, which resulted in significant cost savings for both the agency and its clients.

My contributions helped the agency deliver high-quality digital solutions, allowing clients to benefit from improved performance and reduced operational costs.

My Role

As a Full Stack Software Developer and Digital Development Lead at IvyJack Communications Ltd I was responsible for overseeing development standards, managing development processes, and handling server management to ensure projects ran efficiently and securely. In this role, I served as the lead developer for a range of web, API, mobile, and software development projects, with responsibilities extending from project scoping and specification to estimating, quoting, and leading client meetings and pitches.

One of my main projects was a large-scale Laravel application designed to help school catering teams manage child allergens and meal bookings. This involved building robust APIs, developing mobile applications, and managing complex functionality across both frontend and backend systems. The result was improved safeguarding of children with allergies, as well as significant operational cost savings and reduced food waste for the catering company.

I have extensive experience working across various frameworks and languages, including Node.js, Laravel, WordPress, React, DevOps, and Flutter. My ability to quickly learn new techniques and processes has enabled me to adapt to different project requirements efficiently, delivering high-quality solutions within tight timelines.
